I caught this video shot at CeBIT talking with a representative from AMTek (The makers of the first UMPC on the market). They've got a new UMPC running Vista that we saw at CES a few months ago. It's gotten a visual overhaul and they've left the bright green and white case behind. The T770 is running a VIA C7-M at 1.2 GHz with 1GB of RAM and a 40GB hard drive. The video is very interesting as they get into a good comparison between VIA and Intel CPUs for mobile devices. It sounds like VIA has the edge when battery life, heat and power consumption are the primary deciding factors.
