Justin.tv moving to UMPC?

I just saw this news from EPIACenter, that Justin.tv is run off our very own EPIA MII600 Mini-ITX board. In a Gizmodo interview with Kyle Vogt, the programmer behind Justin.tv, Kyle reveals that they are looking to reduce hardware costs and complexity to bring Justin.tv style lifecasting to the masses.

Gizmodo: Pretty cool. What are you improving now?

Kyle Vogt: Version 1.0 was the state of the art camera with 4x bandwidth, but it was really expensive. We're working on using more standardized equipment like UMPCs (w/ built-in EVDO) and webcams, better codecs, all running on Windows. This is so Justin and all the lifecasters can easily get geared up.

What kind of person is interested in lifecasting? Personally, I think it would be fun to do lifecasting. My life seems to be like a movie recently. Of course, if I had been lifecasting during my accident my equipment would probably have been damaged. Of course the other problem with me lifecasting is that I'm bilingual, when I'm at work I'm usually speaking English, but when I get off work I usually speak Chinese. Who knows, maybe a few people might be interested in seeing what it's like to be a white guy living in Taipei. Anyone else interested in doing lifecasting? Does the UMPC community think they could come up with a homebrew version of Justin.tv? I'm willing to give it a shot.
