First there was the blogger who missed his flight because he had a Macbook Air. Then there was the TSA's response that security did the right thing by giving the Macbook Air extra scrutiny at the checkpoint. Regardless of what you think of the TSA response, if you're traveling in the US you just may get harassed if you bring your CloudBook, OQO model 02, Wibrain B1 or EeePC through security. So far I haven't had any trouble with my regular hard-drive based OQO model 02, but you never know when you are going to run into the one TSA guy with a chip on his shoulder. The best thing you can do is be polite, be patient, and try to suffer through the indignities of having your beloved UMPC poked and prodded at by a man with rubber gloves. If you do get held up by security make sure you follow Michael Nygard's example and blog about it.
